You may be given a quiz during the first 5-15 minutes of lab. It is important to show up early or on time since no extra time is given if you come late. The quizzes will cover the previous two experiments completed and the current experiment to be completed that day. Depending on the TA, he or she may let you know ahead of time when a quiz will be given.
Because TAs may choose when to give quizzes, understand that the same quiz number may differ in material covered from semester to semester. That is, “Quiz 1” from one semester may cover experiments 1-3 whereas “Quiz 1 from another semester may cover experiments 2-4. Based on past semesters, this lab will have 6 quizzes. Only the highest 5 quiz grades will be counted toward your overall grade. Remember these policies may change from semester to semester. Below are mock quizzes designed from quizzes from previous semesters.
